- Less than 0.4% Systemically absorbed.

Dosage
- SIBO-1600mg per day X 10 days, 70%-80% success rate in normalisation of LBT & GBT.
- Dosage for Irritable Bowel Syndrome with diarrhea:- The recommended dose of Rifachkis one 550 mg tablet taken orally three times a day for 14 days. Patient who experience a recurrence of symptoms can be retreated up to two times with the same dosage regimen.
- Dosage for hepatic Encephalopathy:- The recommended dose of Rifachk is one 550 mg tablettaken orally two times a day.
